Story
I'm no athelte by any stretch of imagination !
After doing couch to 5k in late 2020 (in a fitness kick before my 50th birthday), i completed my first 5k on Christmas morning 2020. With in 48 hours i had covid. It changed me in so many ways. I'm still am not back where i was, so its time to pull my socks up, take a deep breath and do what i can !
In early 2024, I decided to take on the London to Brighton bike ride on fathers day, with the specific aim of raising funds for Forward Facing to help Fathers and male siblings through events and counselling.
Before I knew it I was captain of a 20 strong Team Forward Facing on the ride. We raised over £12000.
In 2025, Team Forward Facing was at it again with 8 riders raising over £6400.
As a trustee of Forward Facing I'm very well aware they are plenty of people out there that need all the help they can get.
Please give anything you can to support me in my 6 event challenge.

Every penny goes to helping some extremely deserving individuals and their families.
Forward Facing is a registered charity that provides creative and fun activities for children and young people with long term or life limiting conditions; including their families and local people who are suffering bereavement or are disadvantaged in other ways.
We make memories, build confidence, and support families facing difficult times.
We do this through workshops, Memory Making Days and fun days out for the whole family. We also hold special events for parents and carers.
