Maldron Hotel Liverpool Steps Up

Our team at Maldron Hotel Liverpool have been fundraising throughout the year, and are taking on our biggest challenge yet!

From 4th-17th August, we’ll be coming together as a team to walk, hike, and step our way to a huge target of 2,000km. This includes three major group walks:

- Snowdon

- Moel Famau

- Sefton Coastal Path

Every step we take brings a young patient one step closer to the treatment and support they need. Please donate what you can - every penny makes a difference.

Leukaemia Care is the UK’s leading leukaemia charity, and for over 50 years, they’ve been dedicated to ensuring that everyone affected by leukaemia receives the best possible diagnosis, information, advice, treatment, and support.

As part of their partnership with Dalata, the CAR-T Away From Home programme helps young leukaemia patients (aged 0–25) access life-saving treatment. This innovative initiative provides long-stay accommodation close to one of the only nine hospitals in Great Britain offering a pioneering treatment called CAR-T therapy — which requires patients to attend hospital every day for around 30 days.

Thanks to the convenient location of Dalata hotels, this programme helps eliminate the barrier of distance, making treatment possible for families who would otherwise struggle. Fundraising also supports families with grants for food and travel during this difficult time.
