The Malletsheugh is one – and it’s a very happy birthday for us. Now it’s time to look to the future.

We can’t thank you enough for the incredible support from the communities around us, and further afield.

The Malletsheugh is a passion for our family, and the way everyone has embraced it and seen what we are trying to do is so touching.

So now we want to give back – we want to help the communities who have supported us.

So as we look ahead to our second year in the community which has welcomed us so warmly, we invited the amazing people who run SUPERKIDS to The Malletsheugh.

Superkids work closely with the Isobel Mair school which is a vital help for so many families in the area, as it caters for kids who need extra support in education and in life.

Superkids help parents and teachers alike with clubs, out of school activities and more as well as helping parents take time out – and it’s run by parents of disabled kids.

We want to help these inspirational people who do so much to help families. The Malletsheugh is our family business and nothing is more important than those we love.

So to start the ball rolling we have made a donation of £1500 to Superkids, and we have set up this Just Giving page – so if you also think this is an amazing institution, please feel free to donate.

Why this charity? We wanted to do something local, to give back and to help – and a few parents have mentioned Superkids to us in such glowing terms we felt this was the cause for us.

We hope to work with Superkids to make The Malletsheugh even more welcoming and inclusive for everyone, and we already have plans for some fun events.
