Dear Friends and Family,

I have decided to take the plunge and run my first half marathon in Napa! I am raising money for the Fashion Institute of Technology's foundation. I joined the FIT Foundation board in 2021, specifically with the intention of supporting their newly formed Social Justice Center. The goal of the SJC is to increase the number of black and brown students in the fashion industry, beginning with scholarships, internships, mentoring and support from the moment they step on campus. If you know me, you know that this is a cause that is near and dear to my heart.

My girlfriends from B-School have signed up to run with me and we will be running as team Blush & Bourgeois, with a nod to the Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon.
