Malvern Buzzards Running Club Heartstart Malvern Defib Appeal

Heartstart Malvern’s aim is to save lives by increasing the chances of surviving a cardiac arrest in Malvern and the surrounding villages. We are achieving this by providing free life-saving training and installing Public Access Defibrillators around Malvern. We are entirely run by volunteers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As announced at the AGM the Club are seeking to raise £2000 for Heartstart Malvern to fund a defibrillator in memory of one of Matthew Notley, passed away tragically and unexpectedly on 27 December from a sudden cardiac arrest. He had no symptoms. Matthew's dad, Chris is a long standing member of our club and with his family he is raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) to fund a screening programme for pupils at Matthew's school.

We have not set a time limit to achieve this goal, it is a standalone target and will run alongside our charity of the year fundraising.

Thanks for your time and support. Every donation counts and helps.
