Emma's fundraiser for PANDAS Foundation

Emma Mitchell is raising money for PANDAS Foundation

Mamas & Minis · 11 January 2026

PANDAS is a charity with a mission: ‘To be the UK’s most recognised and trusted support service for families and their networks who may be suffering with perinatal mental illness, including prenatal (antenatal) and postnatal depression.’ Our aim is to make sure no parent, family or carer feels alone. We have a variety of support services available to ensure help is delivered in a way that is right for you. No one suffering any form of mental illness should feel they’re on their own.

Story

Helping mums find their people and step out of the postpartum scaries

This event is all about mums finding their ‘people’ – a safe, supportive space to get out of the house, connect with others, and walk the postpartum journey together.

After having a baby, so many mums, and dads, experience that overwhelming anxiety, loneliness, or fear that can make even leaving the house feel huge. For me, one of the most powerful ways to manage those feelings has been getting out, being around other mums, and not feeling alone.

That’s exactly why this event exists.

We’re bringing mums together locally to:

• Get out the house

• Meet other mums who get it

• Build real connections

• Feel supported, seen, and less alone

At the same time, we’re raising money for PANDAS Foundation, who provide vital support to parents experiencing perinatal mental health challenges.

I know not everyone who wants to support the event is nearby – so this page allows people from anywhere to be part of it. Whether you’re a mum yourself, supporting a mum you love, or simply believe in the importance of maternal mental health, your donation truly matters.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps:

• Support parents struggling with postnatal mental health

• Fund vital resources, listening services, and guidance

• Remind mums that they are never alone in this season

Thank you for supporting this event, for helping mums find their people, and for standing with families during one of the most vulnerable stages of life.
