Story
This October I'll be trekking to the summit of Mount Toubkal - the highest peak in North Africa and the Arab World, standing at over 13,670 feet in Morocco's stunning High Atlas Mountains.
Why am I doing it?
To support families facing the heartbreaking reality of dementia.
Every pound raised from this challenge will go to Dementia UK, helping to close the huge gaps in care and ensuring no one faces dementia alone. With 1 in 2 of us likely to be affected by dementia in our lifetime - whether directly or through someone we love - this cause is personal, urgent and deeply important.
I'm also looking forward to the chance to unplug, get off-grid and be fully present - a much needed digital detox in the mountains.
Who am I doing it with?
I'll be trekking with the same amazing group - Gags, Mike, Tas & Tim - who first got me into hiking during the UK 3 Peaks Challenge for Hospice UK. Together, we're joining a combined Birmingham / London team to raise vital funds for Dementia UK.
Please give generously!
Every donation will be matched pound-for pound by Deutsche Bank, doubling the impact for families who desperately need support.
