Dereham Runners AC are fundraising for Star Throwers in memory of our friend and member, Terri Read.

Terri was a beautiful person, an accomplished runner and a great friend to many of us, and we miss her smile and spirit 🌟

A group of runners, some of whom will be doing their first 10km event, are running the Little Lifts 10km Trail run in April. Little Lifts itself helps those diagnosed with cancer, and it felt right to use this opportunity to support Star Throwers, a charity that helped Terri, and her family, during her illness.

Our Vice Chair, Phil Websdale, will also be competing at Nottingham Outlaw Ironman challenge (comprising 2.2 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 running) on 28 July 2024.
