I am doing the 50K Ultra Lake District Challenge in memory of my loving dad Billy who we sadly lost January 2020, a year after being diagnosed with MND with a prognosis of 3 to 12 months due to having the disease back to front. Meaning it hit his lungs first which they usually call 'The Last Leg' and he ended up on a ventilator after a few weeks. He still had a very strong mind which the consultants said that kept him going when sadly his body was wasting away. We had tremendous support from the MND team at the RVI Newcastle and Home Vent
