After successfully completing her Iceland trek in March 2024 and raising over £3,000, Mandy is more inspired than ever. Now, she's gearing up for an even bigger challenge: the Great Wall of China trek in October 2025, in support of Prospect Hospice.

Mandy will be trekking from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and Simatai, navigating not just the iconic wall but also the wild and remote landscapes that surround it. This journey will take her across some of the most challenging sections of the wall, where the path is rugged, uneven, and often nearly worn away. The trek will push her limits, with daily ascents and descents ranging from 515 to 866 meters.

Given the recent massive funding cuts affecting UK hospices, including Prospect Hospice, the need for support has never been greater. This cause was recently highlighted in the news, underscoring the urgency.

To help reach her goal, Mandy is organising several fundraising events over the next year, with all proceeds going toward her target of £5,995. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference.
