Next Monday I will be sleeping on the streets of London. well under the stands of Lord's , to raise awareness of homelessness and funds for OAPA, Only A Pavement Away.

Some people end up on the streets through no fault of their own, maybe a relationship has broken down and cannot pay for a second home or have left prison or the military and so struggle with many things that you or I take for granted. Only A Pavement Away works with ALL vulnerable people to keep them off the streets by re-training them to take up the thousands of hospitality industry vacancies. Most people do not want handouts but rather hand-ups and that's what OAPA does through networking with other organisations to help these people regain their self-worth & pride but by training them to take up employment this also gets them to give back to society through their taxes et al.

So please give what you can to help me help others. I am more than willing to spend 1 night in the cold so that someone else doesn't have to.

Whatever you can afford when put together with others can help a lot, even the cost of a pint! So what's £5.
