Music can have a profound impact on health and can unlock special memories from our teenage years and beyond! Manic Mike specialises in entertaining in Nursing and Care Homes and works with many residents living with dementia, taking them on a musical journey from the late 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s. He arrives dressed as Elvis/Beatles/Teddy Boy and brings along musical tambourines plus more for a fully interactive show.
I've seen so much of the impact of dementia on individuals, and the positive impact of music, that I've decided to make Alzheimer's Research UK my chosen charity for this year and beyond. I'll be making regular donations to help advance research into the diseases that cause dementia, and look forward to using my skills as an entertainer to support such a vital cause.
