I am extremely proud to work for the NHS and Airedale Hospital so the Airedale charity is really close to my heart. They do amazing work to support patients, staff and the whole community with the aim to improve patient care.

What better way to support this amazing charity than doing the Leeds Marathon. This will be my marathon debut and running 42.2km for an amazing cause is just my way of saying thank you for the amazing work my colleagues do to improve the lives of others.

To keep tradition going, there will be a prize up for grabs to the person who donates and comes closest to guessing my finishing time. In order to be in with a chance, please donate, and comment what you think my finish time will be.

Airedale Hospital & Community Charity is the official charity of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. We support the staff, patients and communities of Airedale across 700 square miles of West and North Yorkshire and East Lancashire.

We want everyone who needs our services to receive the best possible care and support. Our mission is to support Airedale NHS Foundation Trust to enhance patient care and employee wellbeing.

The funds and support we give enable our colleagues to go above and beyond for the Airedale community.
