Manning Elliott have nominated Cumbria Action for Sustainability (CAfS) as the charity of the year and have pledged to raise money throughout 2023. Cumbria is a beautiful part of the world, we love working and living here, therefore we would like to help protect it against climate change.

CAfS vision is of a zero carbon Cumbria and they aim to do this by achieving the following.

• Improve homes and make them more energy efficient

• Support community renewable energy schemes

• Influence Cumbria’s sustainable development

• Support communities to become more sustainable

• Champion waste reduction, local food and green transport
