Each year Mansfield Building Society colleagues vote on their colleague charity for the year. In 2026, we are fundraising for Sherwood Forest Food Bank.

What really stood out to us was that any donations we raise will be allocated and used locally, fitting our ethos of being rooted in our community. Access to the food bank is referral based meaning our help is reaching people who need it the most, at a moment when life has taken an unexpected turn.

Last year alone, Sherwood Forest Food Bank provided 5,224 food parcels to people across Mansfield who were going through a difficult time. That support reached 3,687 adults and 1,537 children, with an incredible 31 tonnes of food handled and distributed by the team.

None of that happens without the generosity of individuals, businesses and communities coming together.
