Story
On the 15th October I will be running the Chelmsford Marathon raising money for Cancer52. It's been almost 10 years since I last ran a marathon (see photo!) and I've forgotten just how long and tormenting 26 miles can be.
I would be hugely grateful for any contribution towards the run (100% of proceeds towards charity not my future knee surgery pot).
Cancer52 is a charity that represents over 110 rare and less common cancer organisations. These cancers account for over half of cancer deaths and yet research and awareness lag behind. Cancer52 works to provide a louder voice for this community by centralising information and lobbying for better representation in UK cancer policy.
I have been a trustee for over 2 years now and the small but mighty team at Cancer52 do fantastic work to level inequalities and improve diagnosis, treatment, and support for patients suffering from these devastating diseases. Your donations really will count.
With my 30th birthday in less than a month this would be a fantastic present. Thank you for all your support!
