Minstead Trust changes lives. We provide support, training and employment opportunities for people with learning disabilities. They gain skills and confidence that help them live more independently and happily as valued members of society.

Story

Organised by London Marathon Events, Marc, George and Steve are taking on The Big Half on Sunday 1st September 2024 to raise money for Minstead Trust.

The half marathon is a 13.1 mile course, weaving through London from Tower Bridge to the iconic Cutty Sark in Greenwich.

They're doing it all for Minstead Trust, who do a fantastic job supporting people with Learning Disabilities so that they may live fulfilled lives as independently as possible.

By donating you will be helping people like Silas, Martin, Phillip, Rachel and Louisa (all shown in the picture gallery above) to gain skills and experience, in a supportive and encouraging environment.

This is going to be a real challenge for Marc, George and Steve who are work colleagues at south coast IT support company, Aura Technology.

They don't claim to be 'runners', so lots of preparation and training is going to be required for this, please do give generously.
