Alan Budge has been a great inspiration and example of how sport can lift people up above themselves. He has over come serious injury but has now been struck by MND.

He will not be able to lead others in the cycle ride but he will be present on the day and give support and guidance.

I will ride for him. Not with the same aplomb and panache but I will do my best.
