In Loving Memory of Farid Mansour 1938-2024

On Dec 27th 2024, we said goodbye to Farid after a 10 yr battle with Alzheimer's disease. Farid was a person full of life, love, and laughter. He was a loving husband to Brenda, a proud father of Pierre, Marc and Dominic, a fun-loving grandfather, and a dedicated doctor who spent his life caring for others. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to his family and patients left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

In honour of Farid, we are raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society, an organization dedicated to supporting those living with dementia, advancing research, and providing resources for families affected by this heartbreaking disease.

Farid was one of at least 75,000 people who died of dementia in the UK this year, and without advances in research, one in three of us will suffer from dementia in our lifetime. Farid understood the importance of research, being one of the first patients in the UK be enrolled on a groundbreaking Alzheimer's disease trial.
