Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Over 15,000 people in Scotland are living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and diagnosis levels are increasing every year. Unfortunately, our friend Sam Moir was one of those diagnosed in 2014 and to mark her 10 years of living with the condition I have decided to raise funds for MS Society.
2 years ago Sam suffered a relapse which affected her legs and couldn't physically run. Thanks to the advances in medications she was moved on to a new drug which allowed her to recover enough from this relapse and get full mobility of her legs back. If it wasn't for the money raised for research into these advances she might not have been so fortunate and her story could be very different. So it is really important we keep these funds coming.
MS is known as the snowflake disease as it affects everyone differently. It can be extremely debilitating and hard to manage on a daily basis. Scotland has the highest incidences of it in the UK so it is likely many of us know someone affected by it so I would be so grateful for any amount you can spare towards my target. Every pound helps, thank you
