Story

We need the brave and the bold to take the plunge for St Andrew’s Hospice in a fundraising bungee jump on the 28th July 2024.

I am reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for donations to support our local palliative care hospice, St Andrew’s Hospice. Growing up in Lanarkshire, I have seen first hand the impact the hospice has on its patients and family care during the most difficult periods of anyone’s life. I am participating in this fundraising effort alongside my younger cousin, Rebecca, whose motivation is in memory of her much loved grandparents, Tom and Anna-Frances, who both sadly lost their battle to cancer but were so compassionately supported by St Andrew’s Hospice.

I cannot let my little cousin seem braver than me, so I am stepping up to make a difference in the lives of those who are in need of compassionate care during their most vulnerable moments. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a significant impact on the lives of patients and their families who rely on the services provided by the hospice.

We will be lifted 160ft in the air in a specialised crane before taking one giant leap for the Hospice.

Together, we can make a difference and bring comfort and support to those who need it the most. Please consider making a donation today and join us in our mission to provide quality care and dignity to those facing end-of-life challenges.

Thank you for your generosity and support.
