I have wanted to run the London Marathon ever since it first started way back in 1981, but never thought I actually would. I have failed twice to get into via the ballot and therefore ran my first marathon (London Virtual) in October 2022 for Jess on what would have been her 20th birthday.

In April 2023 I ran Manchester Marathon, as I failed to get into London again. However, for 2024 I was one of the lucky ones to get a ballot place. My dream had come true, but to make it more special I thought I would once again run for Jess Grant Celebration to raise more funds for music therapy.
