Please help me raise much needed funds for Home Start Butser. This wonderful charity is very close to my heart, as they support families with young children who are in need of help. I am a trustee and its important to note that we receive no statutory funding at all. None. Every penny we need to help those in need in our community we have to find ourselves.

So, on the 2nd Sept I will be challenging myself to ride my gravel bike from Petersfield to La Rochelle (the route is aprox 450m) unsupported and bike loaded with everything I'll need. This challenge will be entirely self-funded, so that every penny raised from your wonderful donations will go to those who need it most. I hope to complete the challenge in 4 days, I have never riden more than 100m before, and that was unladen and nearly killed me! So please wish me luck and please throw a pound or two in the 'bucket' if you can.
