Our family has been heavily affected by Breast Cancer in the last 2years. First my mum was diagnosed and then 12 months ago my wife Laura and one of my cousins were diagnosed a week apart. Thankfully everyone is doing well but living through this experience has been so difficult for everyone involved.

As a result of the amazing work in particular by the team looking after Laura at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle I decided to try and raise some money for this amazing charity that supports them.

I have never been a runner so decided to test myself. I am running the Great Cumbrian Run, a half marathon based in Carlisle, to raise awareness of this charity and to try and help a little
