The Return Of The Trek

The Final Trek - Rugby Against Cancer · 10 May 2024
The three of us, (Marcus Coffin. Marc Ramsdale and Stefan Hargrave) have been watching the great work that Rugby Against Cancer have been doing, the impact they have had on friends dealing with the disease and decided that it was about time we got involved! We have played rugby together, coached rugby together, drunk a beer or two together and even shared a bed on tour together so why not take on a challenge together!
In May next year we will be walking/hobbling 75 miles from Southbank in London down to Portsmouth RFC. We'll be going via Trafalgar square, Buck Palace, Esher, Woking, Aldershot, Bordon, Petersfield, Queen Elizabeth Country Park and into Portsmouth finished up at Portsmouth RFC. (This is a revised route from the original route)
Please take a look at RAC's website to see the great work they do from the RAC Shack through to funding memory making experiences big and small. https://www.rugbyagainstcancer.com/
There will be more updates to follow but for now, thank you for reading, thank you for your support and feel free to put a caption for the photo when you donate!
From Rugby Against Cancer (RAC)
The rugby family is a tribe. A bond that cannot be broken between people who genuinely love, trust, care about and look out for each other. Rugby Against Cancer is here to support that family.
Cancer does not discriminate and can affect anybody, so we want to be there for those that need it. As a charity we harness the power of the rugby community to raise funds and awareness to enhance the lives of those living with cancer.
