James Whale is raising money for ADHD UK
In memory of Marcus Whale

Cricket Challenge Cup and Live Music · 24 August 2025

We are to provide clear information, and warm-hearted support, for those affected by ADHD and ADD. We want to reduce discrimination by increasing awareness and employer understanding. We advocate for political change to increase NHS resources and employment opportunities for those with ADHD and ADD.

Story

It is nearly a year since we tragically lost Marcus at the age of 21, to a sudden and catastrophic brain haemorrhage. Rather than holding a memorial service (really not Marcus's thing) his wonderful cricket club Binsted, have organised a Super Eights cricket tournament complete with BBQ and Bars and an evening of music and fun on Sunday 24th August. All are welcome and in the evening after the cricket, there will be live music and a raffle at the Binsted Inn.

About ADHD UK

Having ADHD or ADD is a challenge - both for the individual and for the people around them. We are here to help people face the challenge. But we want more than just-about-coping. We want to help people to find their unique way and thrive.

We aim to do that through warm hearted support, quality relatable information, campaigning to raise awareness and empathy, advocating for ADHD/ADD politically, fighting for fair NHS & Education resources, and challenging employers to put in adjustments that work and create ADHD/ADD inclusivity.
