London Royal Parks half marathon for Parkinson’s UK

Royal Parks Half Marathon 2024 · 13 October 2024 ·
It's 2024 and apparently I did not challenge myself enough, that's why this weekend I will run my first half-marathon ever in order to help people whose life have been challenged enough!
Around 153,000 people live with Parkinson’s in the UK. And it's the fastest growing neurological condition in the world. We don't yet know exactly why people get Parkinson's. Researchers think it's a combination of age, genetic, and environmental factors that cause the dopamine-producing nerve cells to die. Symptoms start to appear when the brain can’t make enough dopamine to control movement properly and that's when life can feel overwhelming if you don't have the right information and support. Join me on this journey to support people who needs our help.
Every £,€,$, you'll donate will help fund pioneering research to find a cure, and give personalized support services!
