Story
I was successfully treated for Breast Cancer 15 years ago by Guys and St Thomas' Trust and I have been having my follow up appointments at the new Cancer Centre at Guys. I have been cancer free since the surgery and I want to express my thanks for the great work they do especially in the Cancer Centre which was built with the input of former patients regarding the design. Cancer treatment is tough and the light airy nature of the new centre helps lessen the fear factor. I want to help keep the work of the centre improving by raising funds. Cancer is a bit of a Cinderella charity which is why I want to support it as much as possible. Last year I participated in the Abseil and this year I am doing the 10km walk (less terrifying) and I will be entering the Abseil again this year.
