We support Addenbrooke's and the Rosie to change patients' lives.

Margaret Seaman, a 93-year-old great-great-grandmother from Norfolk is knitting an 8ft x 5ft replica model Buckingham Palace out of wool to raise funds for children's services at Addenbrooke's.

Previously awarded a British Empire medal (BEM) for her knitted version of Sandringham, Margaret's knitted creation of His Majesty's main residence, Buckingham Palace in London, is complete with tiny guards in bearskin hats and tourists staring up at the building.

The intricate replica of the royal palace has taken eight months' work so far and has been displayed at the Norfolk Makers' Festival at The Forum, Norwich.

Donations received will ensure that every child experiences the best possible care at Addenbrooke's.

Over the next few years, Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) will be fundraising to build the new Cambridge Children’s Hospital. It will be the first dedicated children’s hospital in the eastern region. Cambridge Children’s Hospital will be situated on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and will provide a whole new way of caring for children and young people, integrating mental and physical healthcare and having a life-changing impact on children regionally, nationally and globally.

Thank you for your support!
