Margaret's Knit for Addenbrooke's

Fundraising for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust
by 90 supporters
We support Addenbrooke's and the Rosie to change patients' lives.

Margaret Seaman, a 94-year-old great-great-grandmother from Norfolk, has amazed and inspired millions of people with her woolly installations.

Her large and intricate models of Sandringham Estate, Buckingham Palace, Great Yarmouth Sea Front, and an NHS Hospital have made headlines around the world and raised around £120,000 for a number of local charities.

Margaret has been awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) for her services to her community. She says the highlight of her life was a private audience with the late Queen Elizabeth, who was delighted with the attention to detail in the Knitted Sandringham!

Margaret is currently raising money to help build the new Cambridge Children’s Hospital and donations received will ensure that every child experiences the best possible care at Addenbrooke's.

All of Margaret’s installations are on show at the Norfolk Makers Festival (, at The Forum, in Norwich, from Sat 13 to Sun 21 April. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see all her work in one unique and spectacular exhibition.

Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) is fundraising to build the first dedicated children’s hospital in the eastern region. Cambridge Children’s Hospital will be situated on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and will provide a whole new way of caring for children and young people, integrating mental and physical healthcare and having a life-changing impact on children regionally, nationally and globally.

Thank you for your support!
