GNR 2024 for Eating Disorders charity Tastelife

Great North Run 2024 · 8 September 2024 ·
I would like to support this charity as I can see how valuable and crucial their work is in helping and equipping people to achieve recovery from eating disorders; delivering both online support and community courses as well as providing preventative resources to deliver to young people in schools and youth groups.
The heart of Tastelife is to aid sustainable recovery so that sufferers can have normality again and live life to the full… I can personally see the importance of this as my son is currently in recovery from an eating disorder, before he was ill I took for granted having kids that ate really well + could access full time education + could do fun active stuff with family and friends. That stuff isn’t fully possible yet but recovery usually takes time; encouragement from a charity like Tastelife has made a difference to us and I’d love it to help people in a similar situation too.
