“GIVE LIFE TO MOTHERS and babies “
Regrettably, each year, precious mothers lose their lives during childbirth due to limited access to proper healthcare. Our heartfelt mission is to bring about a positive change in the lives of mothers in Zimbabwe. We plan to achieve this by providing comprehensive training to dedicated doctors and compassionate midwives, equipping them to expertly handle obstetric emergencies and critical conditions like hemorrhages and pre-eclampsia
We invite you to join us in supporting the noble cause of "Give Life to Mothers" through our upcoming Cake Sale on the Tuesday 19th December 23 at Newham University Hospital. By contributing to MOMS@Zimbabwe, you'll be directly assisting in the training of healthcare professionals to significantly reduce pregnancy-related complications, thereby safeguarding the lives of both mothers and babies.
In November 2018, we achieved remarkable success by training more than 160 midwives and doctors in Sri Lanka, with our main centres located in Jaffna and Kurunagela.
We aspire to raise £20,000, covering essential expenses such as equipment, travel, and accommodation for 15 dedicated Doctors (Obstetricians) and Midwives during their 10-day training project. Your generous support means the world to us, and we express our deepest gratitude.
