Our beloved mother, Margaret Wagstaff (née Chisholm) passed away peacefully on the 5th March 2024.

Anyone who knew Mum will know she was fond of family history and Oswestry, on the Welsh Borders, was a big part of that - with many of Mum's maternal and paternal family having lived in and around Oswestry for several generations - on both sides of the border.

Mum dedicated so much of her life to researching our ancestry, connecting with as many relations as possible and sending out newsletters keeping the ancestral memories and heritage alive.

Instead of sending flowers for Mum's funeral, we thought it appropriate to suggest donations for Oswestry Town Museum in memory of Mum.
