Over the next 9 months, I’ll be taking part in a series of fundraising events, all leading up to a 50km walk along the Great Wall of China in September, to raise £3,500 for Julia’s House and in memory of my loving husband Paul Younger.

Julia’s House is not a typical children’s hospice. They provide practical and emotional support to families caring for a child with a life-limiting, life-threatening or terminal illness — often in the family’s own home. Their nurses and carers help families cope day to day, offering specialist care, respite, and emotional support when it’s needed most.

Caring for a seriously ill child can be exhausting, overwhelming, and isolating. Julia’s House ensures families are not alone, supporting parents, siblings, and children through some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Every donation — no matter the size — will help Julia’s House continue this vital work:

• Giving parents much-needed respite

• Providing compassionate care and emotional support

I’ll be sharing updates throughout the year as I train, fundraise, and prepare for the Great Wall walk, and I’m incredibly grateful for any support you can give.
