On 25th september 2023, my dad suffered a huge heart that within minutes Thames valley air ambulance brought their expertise, equipment and treatment of the hospital to save my dad’s life. If it wasnt for this fantastic service my dad would not be here today as the heart attack he suffered only 2% of people survive due to the severity of the heart attack.

This is why together myself and my sister are running the Oxford Half Marathon to give back to this fantastic cause and thank them for everything they have done and do for so many. If it wasn’t for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance our family would not have the second chance of spending time and making memories with our dad.

We are striving to step out of our comfort zone by running our first half marathon and raise as much money possible, so Thames Valley Air Ambulance can save and help others in their time of need like they did for us.
