Hola amigos y familia!

En octubre de este año aplique para un viaje misionero para ir a Perú con alumnos, profesores y egresados de mi universidad. Después de tres semanas de ansiosa espera, recibí el e-mail de aceptación al programa!

He sido seleccionada para formar parte del primer equipo médico que irá a Pucallpa, Perú en abril de este año. Iremos a ofrecer atención médica a la gente indígena y de bajos recursos de Perú, especialmente en pueblos pequeños donde no hay clínicas u hospitales.

Para poder realizar este viaje, necesitamos recaudar fondos para los medicamentos que vamos a llevar, la casa donde nos vamos a quedar, nuestras comidas y los boletos de avión.

Hello friends and family!

In October of this year, I applied for a mission trip to go to Peru with fellow students, professors, and alumni of my university. After three weeks of anxiously waiting, I received the email accepting me into the program!

I've been selected to be part of the first medical team to go to Pucallpa, Peru in April of this year. We are going to offer medical care to the indigenous and low-income people of Peru, especially those in small towns where there are no clinics or hospitals.

In order to go on this trip, we need to raise money for the medicine we'll be taking, the house where we'll be staying, our meals, and our plane tickets.
