Story
In August, I will be travelling to Uganda to work at the Drumbeat school, supporting orphans and vulnerable children within the school. The school was founded by John Mugwayna, and the work being done there is life- changing for the children and their families.
To help raise money for the school, my family and I are taking on the challenge of climbing up Snowdon in Wales dressed as coloured crayons! It will be a challenge for us; however, we will be motivated as it is an important cause.
We are fundraising for the Drumbeat UK charity for Uganda to help provide education, long- term sponsorships and resources that children have a right to like food and medical aid. I have a sponsor child called Ssemaganda Andrew he is 8 years old. His father passed in a vehicle accident and his mum went to Kampala to work as a maid however, she can barely afford her sons education. He now lives with his grandma. This sponsorship means that he can go to school where he will learn and receive a daily meal something that will make a huge difference to his future.
Every donation will go straight towards the school to children like Andrew and give them the opportunities they deserve.
Thank you so much for your support- it means the world to us!
