Story
On the 1st June 2023, we received the life changing news that Mick had a brain tumour. Three weeks later he had surgery and following what felt like an eternal wait we were advised that he had a grade 3 Oligodendroglioma.
Mick is now on his treatment journey having completed 33 cycles of radiotherapy and now going through 6 cycles of chemotherapy. We want to raise £3,042 for The Brain Tumour Charity, though different events helped by our amazing family and friends, as this is the miles travelled from Bridgwater to Bristol for Mick’s treatment.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. They are committed to saving and improving lives, by moving further and faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.
They're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. They understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
We hope that you will help us to raise money for this amazing charity offering help and support when people need it the most and most importantly not giving up.
