I am hiking to help raise money and awareness for the children of alcoholics. 1 in 5 children are affected by their parents drinking in the UK.

These children suffer in silence, and experience significant trauma. NACOA does outstanding work in helping these children, but more funding is needed to enable them to reach more children. I hope that by embarking on a challenging 21 mile hike through the Manifold Valley & Dovedale Valley in the Peak District in 10 hours, I can raise awareness and some much needed funds.

I am blessed to be hiking with my sister, together we will be remembering our dad who lost his life to alcoholism in 2022.
