Mental Elf is a festive 5k fun run taking place on Sunday 1st December in Crystal Palace Park. The event is organised by South East London Mind and all funds raised directly support local people with mental health problems and dementia across the 5 boroughs of South East London - Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. Dementia has hit our family unexpectedly over the last few years and brings us uncertainty over what is to follow. My brother-in-law, Andros and I will be running together in the hope of raising some funds for this fantastic local organisation who provide support to those experiencing mental health problems and dementia and their families. Even a small donation will be of great support.
