Lyle’s Mini Run for Aleks the White Tiger 🐅 | Help Save a Life
My amazing 8-year-old son Lyle, who lives with autism and hip dysplasia, is taking on the York Mini Run – 1.5km to help rescue a beautiful White Tiger named Aleks.
Aleks was found in heartbreaking conditions in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine – severely malnourished, covered in parasites, with painful skin and organ problems. He was so weak, he couldn’t even stand.
Thanks to Helping Animals of Ukraine (HAU), Aleks is starting to recover. But his future depends on one vital mission: a 1,630-mile journey to Lincolnshire Wildlife Park, where a safe and loving forever home awaits.
This is one of the largest rescue efforts the sanctuary has ever undertaken – and they need help to make it happen.
Lyle is determined to make a difference. Every step of his run is for Aleks – and every penny you give helps bring this majestic animal to safety.
