I am honored to be raising funds for St John Ambulance through my participation in the London Marathon 2027, taking place on Saturday, 24th of April 2027. This organization has profoundly shaped who I am today. My journey began as a school first aider in eighth grade and blossomed into years of volunteering with Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe and Johanniter-Jugend, the German counterparts of St John Ambulance. Through these experiences, including serving on the national youth committee and collaborating on the inaugural JOIN international volunteer exchange, I gained lifelong friendships, invaluable lessons, and a deep sense of purpose.

St John Ambulance continues to be a beacon of hope and support for communities by training lifesavers and being there when people need them most. Their work is vital, and they rely on generous contributions to sustain their life-saving services. Running the London Marathon is my way of giving back to an organization that has given me so much more than I could ever repay.

For much of my life, I never saw myself as a runner. PE was daunting, and running a marathon seemed like an impossible dream reserved for extraordinary athletes. But in late 2024, I committed to trying again—this time with consistency and determination. Since then, I've completed my first 10K and half marathon—milestones that once felt out of reach. Running has taught me resilience: that with persistence and self-belief, we can overcome challenges.

On Saturday, 24 April 2027, I will cross the finish line at the London Marathon not just as a runner but as someone who embodies growth and gratitude. My goal is to raise £2.000 to support St John Ambulance’s incredible mission.
