We have four projects: HAPPY AT HOME visits isolated older people and organises social events: NURTURING DEMENTIA works with carers and nursing homes: STREET ANGELS keeps people safe on a night out; KEY2LIFE alleviates poverty with food, fuel vouchers, school uniforms (a partnership with KEY)

Story

Nurturing Dementia engages with local churches and the wider community of South Tyneside to empower people living with dementia and their carers. We run Dementia Friendly and Intergenerational Christmas celebrations; we work in partnership with local organisations to promote the wellbeing and inclusion of people living with dementia; we run monthly engagement groups for people living with dementia.

Stephen Tennet will be pounding the streets raising money for our cause!
