From Me To You - a big thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page to read about my fundraising for Maggie's Manchester.

Maggie's is such a special place where those with Cancer and their family can go for support, counselling, understanding and time to relax and chat to others with Cancer. The volunteers and staff offer a truly welcoming and peaceful space and a lovely garden at Maggie's Manchester - noone feels alone. It's a special place with special people and an important resource for anyone impacted by Cancer.

My campaign is about giving. Giving my time and energy to run and organise events; Hopefully, you being able to give your generous donation and support; All of us giving time to think about and remember friends or family who have had Cancer and the precious moments with them as well as the special care given to them. Maggie's embodies all of that and more and that's why in this next year my aim is to raise more than £10,000 by:

*Running my first Marathon (26km) on October 6 in Chester with some running buddies from Manchester Harriers & Athletics Club - target £2600 - from friends and supporters

* Putting on a fun night with Hot Jazz, Hot Chilli & Hot Bingo in late February (more updates on the event and how to get hold of a Hot Ticket, coming soon) - target £2000 from fun lovers

*Organising a special Open Gardens Event for Maggie's (late June) - target £3000 from garden visitors

*Offering some 'one off' bespoke garden design drawings for 3 lucky bidders (launching January) - target £1500 - from garden lovers

*Trekking to over 4500m altitude in the Annapurna, Himalayas alongside other Maggie's fundraisers from across the UK (2025 date tbc) - target £2000 from local businesses.
