Dad passed away on 26 Nov 2024. He would have been 90 years old on 4th April. I wanted to do something in his memory.

I wanted to raise money for Dementia UK as I had used all of their resources throughout the 7-8 years dad was living with dementia. in particular, I spoke to Admiral Nurses who were particular supportive for listening, advising and signposting me to places I didn't know about.

Many of these poems I wrote when I was going through all sorts of moments with dad, on my own and is reflective of how a Carer exists day to day. They are personal, a rollercoaster of emotions and was how I could express myself.
