Helping protect the next generation through sun safety awareness.

Every day in the UK, around 6 to 8 people lose their lives to melanoma. It is one of the most serious forms of skin cancer, and in many cases, it can be prevented. As a parent, and through my background working closely with skin health, I have seen how little clear, simple guidance there is for families. Most sun damage happens before the age of 18, yet many children grow up without fully understanding how to protect their skin.

That is why I created The Big Sunny Adventure, a gentle, child friendly story designed to help children and parents understand why sun protection matters, in a way that feels positive rather than overwhelming.

A proportion of every book sold will go towards supporting skin cancer charities, helping to raise awareness and support those affected.

Alongside this, I have created a song, Shine Bright Stay Safe, where all proceeds will be donated to charity, helping to spread this message even further.

This is not just about a book or a song. It is about education, prevention, and supporting families to feel more confident in protecting their children.
