Litter cleanup – 1 day of action for every £150 raised

Barnsley Hospice provides specialist palliative and end of life care for adults living with a progressive life-limiting illness, and the people close to them. We are here for people from the point of diagnosis and throughout their palliative care journey, including at the end of their life.

Story

Here is the first milestone of 150 pounds:

Lately, I've started to embrace challenges, especially if they can bring value to others. I lost my grandmother, someone I was deeply close to, and it still hurts. She battled Cirrhosis, and I watched her struggle. That’s why I’m raising money for Barnsley Hospice, to honor her memory and help others facing similar battles.

Welcome! I’m Marian Ardelean from Quite Peckish Podcast.

For every £150 raised (or milestones like £300, £450, £700, £850, £1000...), I’ll be out picking litter around Barnsley. I’ll even share what unusual items I find tossed on the ground. This challenge is my way of giving back, making Barnsley a little cleaner, and supporting Barnsley Hospice.
