South Africa has always held a special place in my heart — for its breathtaking nature, rich culture, and the extraordinary warmth of its people.
This November, I’ll be trekking 100km through the remote and rugged Drakensberg Mountains with the all-women HER Planet Earth team. Over six days, we’ll face harsh terrain, steep ascents, freezing temperatures, high altitudes and minimal support infrastructure. It will be one of the toughest physical and mental challenges I’ve ever undertaken.
Why? To raise funds for a cause that combines everything I care about — protecting endangered species, empowering women, and building climate resilience.
We are supporting the Black Mambas, the world’s first all-female anti-poaching unit, through Helping Rhinos, a conservation charity doing vital work on the frontlines. These incredible women patrol unarmed, dismantle snares, and protect rhinos — all while breaking gender barriers and inspiring their communities.
Our goal: Raise USD 50,000 to fund their mission, amplify their impact, and show that adventure can fuel meaningful change.
If you believe in the power of women, community, and conservation, please consider donating. Every step we take is for a better planet — and your support means the world.
