Now more than ever, people struggling from mental health problems need our support.
Risks can manifest themselves at all stages of life and can be found in society at different scales.
Mental Health is complex and our wellbeing is determined by a combination of biological, psychological and social factors. 70% of children and adolescents who experience mental health problems have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age.
Nobody should face a mental health problem alone, and we need your help to make that happen. As 1 in 4 people will experience mental health problems of some kind each year in England. With your support we can give people a way forward, help them to understand their options and get support and know that they're not alone.
Mind can be there – on the other end of the phone, in local communities, and campaigning hard.
You'll also be helping to campaign for better services and support so people experiencing a mental health problem can get the help they need, when they need it.
As someone who has experienced my own mental health issues first hand specifically with Anxiety, and through seeing family members, close friends and colleagues battle with their own mental health problems. I for one know how serious and debilitating it can be. I’m a strong believer in recovery and learning. For some people, it will mean no longer having symptoms of their mental health condition. For others, it will mean managing their symptoms, regaining control of their life and learning new ways to live the life they want and achieve their goals. With your help we can raise awareness and provide people with the appropriate tools needed for their own recovery!
