On the 17th of May our dear mum passed away. Mum was the kindest, most generous, wonderful woman who was taken so suddenly from us.

Mum was taken into hospital in late March and was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks later. After that she was on a mission to get home…did I say she was also very driven!

We managed to get her home so that she could be surrounded by her loving family and her beloved plants, in the comfort of her own home. It was truly an honour to be able to spend her remaining weeks with her at home, where she belongs.

But that would never have been possible without the incredible team at longfield hospice. They were truly like angels who came to our rescue at such a difficult time. They always treated mum with the upmost respect, maintaining her dignity at all times. They were a shoulder to cry on for our family and were always happy to share their knowledge and wisdom. Their kindness and support meant so much to us all.

It is because of this that we would love to raise some much needed funds for this incredible charity in mum’s honour. So please give what you can, we would be so grateful!
