The last few years funds have been raised for Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity after all the support my nephew and family have had from them. This year however, we've decided to support another charity, Macmillan. The reason for the change, I was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago, which resulted in a whirlwind of hospital appointments, surgeries and now physio. What was more surprising (and still is) was that it was tongue cancer. I have never smoked and rarely drink, so this one was not at the top of my list. Anyway, with the support I've received over the last wee while I would like to give something back.
